w/c 27th April. Home Learning - Year 2

What a busy week you have all had - we are amazed and proud of all of you. 
We are so pleased to see you engaging with the home learning activities we have set, but, and in some ways more importantly, we are enjoying seeing and hearing about the other things you are up to. 

Some of you have been cooking, reading to your siblings, learning to tie shoelaces, carrying out experiments and catching up with friends over video chat.








Getting out in the garden has been a theme, and engaging with Ms Paterson's potato planting too. We like your predictions - look out for an update video soon.

Literacy activity: Dear Teacher letters. What great excuses you can think of! We are very impressed with the effort children have been making with their handwriting, spellings and punctuation. Well done. 













Maths - We can see Times Table Rock Stars is becoming a popular resource. Please let us know if you would like log in details for your child. Great effort in maths at home everyone. 


And finally, a great idea to make trophies for key workers - thank you for the trophy.

This week is transition week, where all the children in the school look forward to the classes they will be joining in September. The lovely children in Year 6 will be moving on to new schools and we wish them well in their new lives away from Bressingham Primary - please come back and see us and let us know how you're getting on! We will miss you very much 😢 but know that you have wonderful opportunities and happy times ahead 😀 This is our final week of home learning and, as usual there is Guided Reading and spellings to work on. Writing this week focused on personal profiles, where everyone wrote about themselves and their aspirations. These profiles will be shared with your new teachers and this was your opportunity to let them know something about you and what you're looking forward to doing next year. Art involved designing a stone, based on 'Only one You', a book which you can listen to on the Bressingham YouTube channel. These will be used in school next term. ...
