Welcome back bumblebees, we hope you have all had a restful weekend.

We love receiving all your home learning and here are some of the items we have been sent.

Maths:

Some careful weighing and measuring to bake these yummy cupcakes.

Literacy:

Handwriting practice.

We enjoyed reading your news.

This picture and writing was inspired by the  'Caterpillar Shoes' story.

Some people have been on a rhyme hunt.

In school :

As part of this week's 30 Days Wild the children were inspired to make bug houses.

Literacy:

We have been rhyming this week in class. First we used our careful listening skills to match up rhyming words and then we went on a rhyme hunt. We used our reading skills to help match up the rhyming words. We tried writing our own rhyming strings today. 

Mrs Fisher read us a story in the shade.

We made a rainbow using natural things that we found.

We labelled the different parts of insects and wrote little books about them.
