At home...
Maths:

Counting to 100


Literacy:
Comprehension work using 'Who's in the shed?' by Brenda Parkes.




Writing minibeast facts.



Wow, Mrs Fisher was very impressed at these lovely tomato seedlings. It's time to pot them up and grow them on.



In School...

Sports week:

We have been having lots of fun trying out all sorts of races including sack race, slalom race, running races and obstacle race. We made sure we warmed up and stretched out our muscles before we started.







We have been inspired by Mrs Sullivan to make ourselves some Sports Week medals.






Topic and literacy in school:

                               

We practised viking weaving.



We decorated salt dough medals and tried different ideas for ribbons.

Home Learning for Years 3,4,5 and 6 for the week beginning 13th July 2020

This week is transition week, where all the children in the school look forward to the classes they will be joining in September. The lovely children in Year 6 will be moving on to new schools and we wish them well in their new lives away from Bressingham Primary - please come back and see us and let us know how you're getting on! We will miss you very much 😢 but know that you have wonderful opportunities and happy times ahead 😀 This is our final week of home learning and, as usual there is Guided Reading and spellings to work on. Writing this week focused on personal profiles, where everyone wrote about themselves and their aspirations. These profiles will be shared with your new teachers and this was your opportunity to let them know something about you and what you're looking forward to doing next year. Art involved designing a stone, based on 'Only one You', a book which you can listen to on the Bressingham YouTube channel. These will be used in school next term.

W/C 20th April - Year 1 Home Learning

There has been lots of wonderful learning happening again this week in Year 1. Baking, lovely walks in the countryside, learning to ride a bike the list is endless! Well done everybody!  Maths It was great to see the response to the Easter eggs video. I am glad you enjoyed it.
